Acorns

Acorns Class (Reception)

In Acorns, our Reception children begin their journey of learning about God, Jesus and the Christian faith through stories, play and creative activities. Children enjoy listening to Bible stories, drawing, painting and acting out events from the life of Jesus.

They have opportunities to visit St John's Church and welcome our vicar into school, helping them to learn more about the Christian faith and their local church community. Through these experiences, children develop a sense of wonder, respect and curiosity as they explore beliefs, values and celebrations together.
