SIAMS
What is SIAMS?
SIAMS stands for the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools. It is the process through which Church schools are inspected to evaluate how effectively their Christian vision and values shape the life of the school and enable both pupils and adults to flourish.
At St John's C of E First School, SIAMS looks beyond academic outcomes to consider how our vision,"Love, Protect, Succeed", is lived out each day and how it influences the experiences, wellbeing and development of our whole school community.
Our Latest SIAMS Inspection
Our most recent SIAMS inspection recognised that St John's is living up to its foundation as a Church school and is enabling pupils and adults to flourish. Inspectors highlighted the school's strong Christian vision, culture of inclusion, collective worship and commitment to ensuring that every child is known, valued and supported.
We are proud of the positive impact our Christian vision has on the lives of our children, families and staff, and we continue to work together to ensure that everyone within our school community can flourish.
