St John's Day

Although Christians traditionally celebrate St John the Evangelist on 27th December, at our school we hold our celebration six months later, on 27th June.

To mark the occasion, we walk together to the church for a special service. There, we learn about the life and faith of St John, sing hymns, read from the Bible, and offer prayers to God.

After the service, we return to school to continue our celebration. We spend time reflecting on St John’s life—as a close friend of Jesus, a Gospel writer, and a fisherman. Through activities, discussion, and prayer, we honour his example and his message of love, faith, and friendship.
